학교소개

1834년 Royal Polytechnic Institution을 모태로 160년의 오랜 역사를 가지고 1992년 지금의 University of Westminster로 자리 잡게 되었다. 132 개국에서 온 23,800명의 학생들이 다양한 학과에서 공부하고 있으며, 학부 과정에서부터 석사과정, short course가 있으며 특별히 직업교육과정이 유명하며 취업률이 높다. 학과로는 school of Media, Arts and Design의 Media와 fashion 학과가 높은 평가를 받고 있다. 2016년 여름에 전체 빌딩을 다시 개설한다고 하며 6층 전체는 이번에 새로 생긴 MA Menswear을 위해 넓힌다고 한다. 졸업생으로는 전 영국 총리의 부인인 Cherie Blair와 버버리 디자이너인 Christopher Bailey등이 있다.
