학교소개
1851년 존 오웬(John Owens:1780∼1846)의 유산으로 설립된 오웬스대학에서 출발해서 1880년 리즈와 리버풀의 여러 대학들과 연합하여 만든 빅토리아대학교로 설립인가를 받았다. 그 뒤 1903년 연합 대학들이 각각 리즈대학교와 리버풀대학교로 독립하면서 현재의 학교명이 되었다.
